The WORD. The TRUTH.

 300 total views

There are so many good things that begin small. Human life begins with two cells uniting, visible only through a microscope. We, adults, were once upon a time babies. Nobody comes out of the womb of a woman as a big person, with teeth and all. We all start small. All good things start small.

Unfortunately, it is not only the good things that start small; the bad things also start small. Sin also starts small. You can hardly see sin; it is in the thought. Not even an X-ray can betray the bad thoughts that we entertain in our minds. That is how small it is; it is only a thought. And yet, if we nurture it and cultivate it, it will be translated into words; and words turn to actions; and repeated actions become habits; and habits become our attitude.

It is good to glorify the small; it is good to glorify the little.

Let us not forget that even evil and sin also start small. Therefore, if we are vigilant against evil, our watchfulness should not only be in our gestures and actions, we must start to hit it on the nail right from the very beginning. While goodness starts small, evil things also start small.
