Inaanyayahan ng humanitarian, development and advocacy arm ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) ang mga komisyon ng CBCP at iba’t ibang Church organizations sa Mother of Grace Convention Center na isang makabagong pasilidad na layong magsilbing sentro ng pagtitipon at paglilingkod para sa Simbahan.
Ito ang bahagi ng mensahe ni Caritas Philippines President Kidapawan Bishop Jose Colin Bagaforo kaugnay sa bagong Mother of Grace Convention Center na pinasinayaan sa CBCP Caritas Philippines Development Center sa Tagaytay City.
Binigyang-diin ni Bishop Bagaforo na ang bagong pasilidad ay katuparan ng matagal nang hangarin ng Simbahan na magkaroon ng maayos, moderno, at abot-kayang lugar para sa mga gawain ng mga komisyon, simbahan, at iba’t ibang organisasyong Katoliko.
Inihayag ng Obispo na layunin ng pasilidad ang makatulong sa resource mobilization at income generation ng Caritas Philippines, upang higit pang mapabuti ang paghahatid ng serbisyo sa mga programa nito partikular na sa ilalim ng Alay Kapwa 7-legacy programs.
“We are inviting different church organizations, especially around Metro Manila. This is we are offering these services and when you use this when you patronize this you are somehow participating as our partners sa 7 legacy programs naming because whatever we can generate from here we will use it for the improvement and for the expansion ng aming mga services sa seven legacy programs ng Alay Kapwa.” Bahagi ng pahayag ni Bishop Bagaforo sa Radyo Veritas.
Ayon sa Obispo, kasama rin sa layunin ng Mother of Grace Convention Center ang magsilbing hub para sa mga programa ng Caritas Philippines at Caritas Academy, na magbibigay ng mga professional training at formation courses para sa mga manggagawa ng Simbahan.
Ipinaliwanag ni Bishop Bagaforo na bilang tahanan ng mga programa ng Caritas Philippines at ng iba’t ibang komisyon ng Simbahan, ang Mother of Grace Convention Center ay inaasahang magiging lugar ng pagkakaisa, pagbabahaginan, at paghubog na isang kongkretong tanda ng patuloy na misyon ng Simbahan na itaguyod ang paglilingkod, katarungan, at pagkakapatiran sa ngalan ni Kristo.
“Component ng program namin dito sa Mother of Grace Convention Center is yung para magiging hub ito in partnership with our Caritas Academy. Na yung aming Caritas Academy will be providing mga professional training and professional courses. And this will partner with our academy, Caritas Academy, for a venue where they can come together and a venue where they can come together and a venue where they can use in order that much better yung environment for learning, saka environment for dialogue.” Dagdag pa ni Bishop Bagaforo.
Pinangunahan ni Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines Archbishop Charles John Brown, D.D. ang pagbabasbas ng bagong Mother of Grace Convention Center sa CBCP Caritas Philippines Development Center sa Tagaytay City noong Oktubre 14, 2025 katuwang si Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) President Kalookan Bishop Pablo Virgilio Cardinal David at Bishop Bagaforo.
Personal din dumalo sa opisyal na pagpapasinaya sa Mother of Grace Convention Center si In-coming Caritas Philippines President San Carlos Bishop Gerardo Alminaza kasama ang iba pang kasaping miyembro ng CBCP-Episcopal Commission on Social Action, Justice and Peace na sina Imus Bishop Reynaldo Evangelista, Daet Bishop Herman Abcede, Palo Archbishop John Du, Prosperidad Bishop Ruben Labajo, at Caritas Philippines Executive Director Fr. Carmelo “Tito” Caluag.
