“Looking at some the footage sa Marawi, my memories of 2013 siege were coming back. I understand how the bishop of Marawi now is feeling right now,”pahayag ni Msgr.Manongas sa Radio Veritas
“Very difficult, during that time we have no bishop I am the administrator. We have to run around and rescue people who are trapped. Ang mga BEC’s many of them were trapped and we have to visit them in evacuation centers. Some we have to bring food, going to the areas of conflict. They cannot get out. So I need to bring them food. It was so difficult. That was one month of intense fighting, that was the hardest so far in my life.”pagbabahagi ni Msgr.Manongas
“We pray, Lord and heavenly Father, strengthen the people who are under siege in Marawi Christians and Muslims alike they are all your creatures, they are all your people made in your image and likeness. Preserve them from all danger, guide our authorities as they try to put the things in order. Guide our church leaders so that they be able to guide the people themselves bring them peace oh Lord,” panalangin ni Msgr. Manongas.
