Agad na tumugon ang Archdiocese of Manila sa pamamagitan ng Caritas Manila sa apelang tulong ng Archdiocese of Nueva Caceres, Diocese of Legazpi at Diocese of Virac sa Catanduanes na matinding napinsala sa pananalasa ng bagyong Nina.

Nauna rito, inihayag ni Msgr.Clemente Ignacio, Vicar-General ng Archdiocese of Manila na umaapela si Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle sa lahat ng parishes ng Archdiocese of Manila na maging handa para i-assist ang mga local government units na hihingi ng suporta sa simbahang Katolika.
“His Eminence Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle appeals to the parishes to be ready to assist local government units in case they come to us.The government is doing its best to protect our citizens especially the vulnerable and homeless,” bahagi ng mensahe ni Msgr.Ignacio sa Radio Veritas.
