“We in the CBCP ECMI are grateful for the NO vote of 54 legislators to death penalty. You are truly honorables. We admire your principle, your conviction and commitment to catholic teachings, especially about sanctity of life. It is not position or personal privilege which matters to you. You manifest your clear conscience and your fear of God, not to anyone nor losing perks.”pahayag ni Bishop Santos

Hinahangaan ni Bishop Santos ang paninindigan ng 54 na mambabatas at maituturing silang angles of life.

“As you said NO to death penalty, you are for us in CBCP ECMI are agents and angels of life. You honor and fear God whereas others fear losing chairmanships and material privileges. You stand up to our moral principle.”paliwanag ng Obispo

“We hope and pray that in the upper chamber it will not be politics of convenience but commitment to life, not political party of positions but a party of principles. We are proud of you, truly Filipinos defending Filipinos to live and have a life.”panawagan ng Obispo
