The Catholic faithful are once again invited to join the Veritas Jubilee Pilgrimage to the Jubilee Churches in the Archdiocese of Manila on September 25, 2016.

Veritas Jubilee Pilgrimage will visit the Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Intramuros, Manila; Santuario de Santo Cristo, San Juan City; Archdiocesan Shrine of the Divine Mercy, Mandaluyong City; Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Pasay City; and National Shrine of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Makati City.

“Let us take some time to pause from secularization. Let us give time to pray, reflect and renew our relationship with God through the Veritas Jubilee Pilgrimage to the Jubilee Churches in the Archdiocese of Manila,” said Radio Veritas president Fr. Anton Pascual.

In this Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy, His Holiness Pope Francis encourages us to go on a pilgrimage to designated Jubilee Churches as it represents the journey each of us makes in this life. Also, the faithful can gain plenary indulgence by fulfilling these conditions: pass through the doors of mercy of the pilgrimage Church; make a profession of faith in the Church; sacramentally confessed the sins; receive the Holy Eucharist and pray for the Pope’s intentions and the Pope himself.

In light of this, Radio Veritas spearheaded a Jubilee pilgrimage to give the faithful an opportunity to gain blessings from God and to repent for their sins in this Holy Year.

Deadline of registration is on September 20, 2016 at the Radio Veritas studios at 162 West Avenue cor EDSA, Quezon City. A pilgrimage donation of Php 1,200 will be applied to all the participants and Php 1, 000.00 pilgrimage donation for full pledged Kapanalig members. The pilgrimage donation is inclusive of transportation, lunch and snack and love offering to the chaplain.
