Nagpaabot ng pagbati ang Conference of Major Superiors in the Philippines sa bagong halal na pangulo ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines na si Caloocan Bishop Pablo Virgilio David.
Ang Conference of Major Superiors in the Philippines ay ang dating Association of Major Religious Superiors in the Philippines na magkatuwang na pinamumunuan bilang Co-Chairpersons nina Sr. Marilyn Java, RC & Fr. Cielito Almazan, OFM.
Bukod sa pagbati, tiniyak rin ng samahan ng mga relihiyoso, relihiyosa at mga nagtalaga ng kanilang buhay sa Panginoon ang pananalangin para sa bagong misyon at tungkulin ni Bishop David bilang pangulo ng kalipunan ng mga Obispo sa bansa.

Naniniwala rin ang Conference of Major Superiors in the Philippines na sa pamamagitan ng pamumuno ni Bishop David ay patuloy na magagampanan ng Simbahang Katolika sa bansa ang misyon nitong isulong ang pagkakaroon ng mas maayos, mapayapa at makatarungang lipunan lalo na sa gitna ng pandemya.
“May our Good Shepherd bless you and give you wisdom as you serve the Philippine Church in your capacity as President of the Bishops’ Conference and in leading the Filipino Catholics in our journey towards a just, peaceful and healthy society especially during these challenging times,” dagdag pa ng Conference of Major Superiors in the Philippines.
Magsisilbi namang katuwang ni Bishop David sa pamumuno sa kalipunan ng mga Obispo sa bansa si Pasig Bishop Mylo Hubert Vergara na naihalal bilang bagong vice president ng CBCP.
Pormal namang magsisimula ang dalawang taong panunungkulan ng mga bagong halal na opisyal ng kalipunan sa unang araw ng Disyembre ng kasalukuyang taong 2021.
