“In quiet places and in times of crisis, they bring hope where there is despair, strength where there is struggle, and justice where there is pain. Their work may go unseen by many—but it is never unseen by God. Let us mark this day not only with formal recognition, but with genuine love and spiritual support,” ayon sa mensaheng ipinadala ni Bishop Santos sa Radyo Veritas.
“God of Compassion, You sent Your Son to heal the brokenhearted and to lift up the lowly. We thank you today for the gift of social workers— Your faithful servants who bring care, dignity, and hope to those most in need. Bless them with strength when their work is heavy, with courage when they face injustice, and with tenderness when they meet suffering face-to-face. May they never lose heart. Let them know that their hands are Yours, and their labor in the Lord is never in vain. Guide them by Your wisdom, sustain them with Your grace, and surround them with our prayers and love. We ask this through Christ, who walks always with the poor and the weary.
