Ipapatupad ng Armed Forces of the Philippines ang mahigpit na seguridad sa kapistahan ng Mahal na Jesus Nazareno ngayong taon.
Ayon kay AFP Spokesperson Colonel Francel Margareth Padilla, ang pangangalaga sa seguridad ay upang matiyak ang kapayapaan at kaligtasan ng mga deboto sa Traslacion 2025.
Sinasal kay Col.Padilla mahigit sa isang libong uniformed personnel mula sa Philippine Army, Navy at Airforce na bahagi ng AFP-Joint Task Force – National Capital Region (AFP-JTF-NCR) kasama ang mga reservist mula sa Philippine Marine Corps at Marine battalion ang mangangalaga ng seguridad sa kaspitahan ng Jesus Nazareno.
“The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) will deploy contingents to help secure the procession of the Feast of the Black Nazarene as augmentation to other security forces. The AFP through the Joint Task Force – NCR are now working closely with other law enforcement agencies to ensure peace and order, allowing the faithful to participate in the procession safely. Rest assured, we are taking all necessary measures to make the event as secure as possible,” ayon sa mensahen ipinadala ni Col.Padilla sa Radio Veritas.
Nasa 14-libo naman na kawani ng Philippine National Police ang pangunahing mangangalaga sa seguridad, kaligtasan at kapakanan ng mamamayan lalu na ang mga debotong makikiisa sa kapistahan ng Mahal na Jesus Nazareno.
