Kinilala ni Antipolo Bishop Ruperto Santos ang mga lola at lola. Ito ay bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Jubilee for Grandparents ng Diyosesis ng Antipolo bilang pakikiisa sa mga matatanda na magpapamana sa biyaya ng pananamapalataya sa susunod na henerasyon.

prayers, they have become a source of love and stability in our fast-paced world. In the Philippine context, where family is the cornerstone of our culture, grandparents are
more than just relatives—they are foundations of strength and bearers of spiritual
heritage,” ayon sa mensaheng ipinadala ni Bishop Santos sa Radio Veritas.
Ayon kay Bishop Santos, tungkulin din ng simbahan na ipagpatuloy ang pakikiisa sa mga senior citizen dahil isa sila sa mahahalagang haligi ng simbahan na nagtaguyod ng pananampalataya.
“Let us take this Jubilee as a chance to renew our commitment to the elderly in our
communities. Let us show them our gratitude, care for their needs, and learn from their experiences. May this occasion also inspire the younger generations to stay connected to the legacy of faith and resilience that grandparents impart, Let us lift up our beloved grandparents in prayer, thanking the Lord for their lives and their unwavering devotion. May their light continue to guide us, and may they feel the warmth of our love and appreciation today and always. Let us celebrate with hearts full

March 8, 2025 ay idinaos ang Catholic Elderly and Grandparents Association ng Diocese of Antipolo ang General assembly upang patibayin ang pagkakaisa ng mga Grandparents and The Elderly tungo sa pagpapalalim ng pananampalataya ng susunod na henerasyon.
