Hinimok ni Military Ordinariate of the Philippines Bishop Oscar Jaime Florencio ang mga mananampalataya na paigtingin ang pagdedebosyon sa mga Santo ng Simbahang Katolika.
Ito ang mensahe at paanyaya ng Obispo sa pagdiriwang ng All Saints Day at All Souls Day para sa mga Pilipino.
Ayon sa Obispo, nawa sa pagpapatuloy ng pagpapalalim ng mga Pilipino sa kanilang pananampalataya ay ipagpatuloy din ang pananalangin para sa pamamagitan ng mga Santo upang magabayan tungo sa banal na landas higit na ang mga lider sa pamahalaan.
“We can ask all the saints to pray for our country, our leaders and especially the key position of leadership. We can always rely on the prayers. may all the saints hear our humble prayers for a tranformed hearts and minds of our peoples.,” ayon sa mensaheng pinadala ni Bishop Florencio sa Radyo Veritas.
Umaasa ang Obispo na gunitain ang Undas ngayong taon sa taimtim na pamamaraan habang pinapalalim ang ugnayan ng mga Pilipino sa Simbahan at kanilang yumaong mahal sa buhay.
Ito ay sa pamamagitan ng pagsesentro sa Panginoong Hesukristo sa lahat ng pagkakataon sa buhay.
“Every time we come to the All Saints and All Souls’ Day, I would always remind myself that we are a church of communion anchored in Jesus our Lord, their communion leads us to gaze on the eternity where our final destiny is set, For this reason, our prayers are meaningful for the beloved but also equally meaningful for us because the prayers of the saints in heaven brings us protection, graces and guides as we live holy lives as welll,” ayon pa sa mensaheng pinadala ni Bishop Florencio sa Radyo Veritas.
Sa datos, umaabot sa 20,255 ang mga sundalong mula sa hanay ng Armed Forces of the Philippines at 42,613 na PNP Uniformmed Personnel ang nangangalaga sa kapayapaan at seguridad ng mga Pilipinong bumibisuta sa mga semeteryo at iba pang mataong pook ngayong Undas 2025.
