Ang Mabuting Balita, 2 Nobyembre 2023 – Juan 14: 1-6
“PASS”
Paggunita sa Lahat ng mga Pumanaw na Kristiyano
Noong panahong iyon, sinabi ni Jesus sa kanyang mga alagad, “Huwag kayong mabalisa; manalig kayo sa Diyos at manalig din kayo sa akin. Sa bahay ng aking Ama ay maraming silid; kung hindi gayun, sinabi ko na sana sa inyo. At paroroon ako upang ipaghanda ko kayo ng matitirhan. Kapag naroroon na ako at naipaghanda na kayo ng matitirhan, babalik ako at isasama kayo sa kinaroroonan ko. At alam na ninyo ang daan patungo sa pupuntahan ko.” Sinabi sa kanya ni Tomas, “Panginoon, hindi po namin alam kung saan kayo pupunta, paano naming malalaman ang daan?” Sumagot si Jesus, “Ako ang daan, ang katotohanan, at ang buhay. Walang makapupunta sa Ama kundi sa pamamagitan ko.”

Ang kamatayan ng isang minamahal sa buhay ay kahit kailan, hindi magiging madali, sapagkat ang pagkawala ng isang minamahal ay laging mag-iiwan ng “vacuum” o basyo sa ating mga puso. Ngunit para sa ating mga Kristiyano, hindi kailangang maging basyo ang ating mga puso ng matagal. Ito ay mapupuno ng malaking pag-asa, sapagkat alam natin na siya ay mapupunta sa tirahan na inihanda ni Kristo para sa mga tagasunod niya, at alam natin na balang araw, maging sa anumang paraan, makakapiling natin silang muli. Para sa atin na mga naiwan nila, mahalagang alalahanin na si Jesus ang ating “PASS” papunta sa langit. Kalooban ng Ama na ibalik sa kanya muli, tayong lahat na kanyang nilikha.
Napakapalad natin na bagama’t tayo ay nagkakasala kung minsan, tayo ay binibigyan ng pagkakataong makarating sa langit. Kaya’t habang narito tayo mundo, gawin natin ang lahat ng ating magagawa upang masundan natin si Jesus, ang daan, ang katotohanan at ang buhay, at hindi tayo mawawala sa landas patungong kalangitan.
Ipanalangin natin ang ating mga pumanaw na kamag-anak, mga kaibigan at kakilala, lalo na yaong walang nagmamahal at nananalangin para sa kanila, pati na rin mga namatay na biktima ng karahasan at digmaan, ng makamit nila ang walang hanggang kapahingahan sa langit kapiling ang Diyos.
