Nagagalak si Malaybalay Bishop Jose Cabantan sa pagpapahalaga ng mga Pilipino sa buhay katulad ng Panginoong Hesus.
Ikinatutuwa ni Bishop Cabantan ang lumabas sa survey na 8 sa 10 Filipino ay naalarma at natatakot sa mga nangyayaring patayan dahil sa kampanya sa illegal na droga ng pamahalaan.
Iginiit ng Obispo na ang survey ay patunay na hindi insensitive ang damdamin ng mga Filipino at pinili pa rin ang kahalagahan at kasagraduhan ng buhay ng tao laban sa kamatayan.
Ipinaalala ng Obispo na ang radical change na dinala ni Hesus sa mundo ay pagpahalaga sa buhay,“This means that people are not truly desensitized by the storm of killings everyday. We have come to our senses and realize the desacralization of human beings especially the poor victims. Radical change brought about by the birth of our Lord brings Love that casts out all fear, allows Life to flourish in peace; we hope that Real change advocated by our leaders will abide by this law of love of the Lord, caring for all including those who transgressed His law for us to change and be renewed. Let us Choose Life Not death! Let us follow Jesus, the Lord of Life and not Herod who slaughtered the infants during Christ’s birth.
