Ang Mabuting Balita, 16 Oktubre 2023 – Lucas 11: 29-32

PUSONG NAKAKAKITA

Noong panahong iyon, samantalang dumaragsa ang mga tao, sinabi ni Jesus, “Napakasama ng lahing ito! Naghahanap sila ng palatandaan mula sa langit, subalit walang ipapakita sa kanila maliban sa palatandaang inilalarawan ng nangyari kay Jonas. Kung paanong naging isang palatandaan si Jonas sa mga taga-Ninive, gayun din naman, magiging isang palatandaan sa lahing ito ang Anak ng Tao. Sa Araw ng Paghuhukom, titindig ang Reyna ng Timog laban sa lahing ito at sila’y hahatulan niya ng kaparusahan. Sapagkat nanggaling siya sa dulo ng daigdig upang pakinggan ang karunungan ni Solomon; ngunit higit na di-hamak kay Solomon ang naririto! Sa Araw ng Paghuhukom ay titindig ang mga taga-Ninive laban sa lahing ito at hahatulan ng kaparusahan, sapagkat nagsisi sila dahil sa pangangaral ni Jonas; ngunit higit na di-hamak kay Jonas ang naririto!”

Isipin natin kung isang araw, hindi na sisikat ang araw at uulan ng walang tigil. Isipin natin kung isang araw, hindi na uulan at puro sikat ng araw na lang. Isipin natin, kung isang araw wala ng hayop at halaman ang nabubuhay. Isipin natin, kung isang araw, wala ng tao ang isinisilang. Napakahaba ng listahan ng mga palatandaan na nagbibigay pruweba na mayroon tayong Diyos na lumilikha at nagtataguyod ng buhay, ngunit, ang mga hindi nananampalataya ay humihingi pa rin ng palatandaan upang manampalataya sila. Ang problema dito, para sila ay makakita ng palatandaan, depende sa kanila – kung kikilalanin nila ang mga ito. Kung hindi, mananatili silang hindi nananampalataya.

Ang tanong ngayon: Sino ang mas nasa maayos na kalagayan? Ang nananampalataya o ang hindi nananampalataya?

Sapagkat ang Pananampalataya ay ang maniwala sa bagay na hindi nakikita, ang isang nananampalataya ay hindi nangangailangan ng mga palatandaan upang sumunod sa mga utos ng Diyos at mamuhay ng mabunga at ganap, at matamasa ang kaligayahan at kapayapaan na dala nito. Ang isang mananampalataya ay laging nakatitiyak na hindi siya pababayaan ng Diyos sa kanyang mga pangangailangan anuman ang kalagayan. Ito ay sapagkat ang isang mananampalataya ay mayroong PUSONG NAKAKAKITA. At higit pa rito, ang mananampalataya na namumuhay ng ganito ay tiyak na makapag-aambag sa isang napakagandang mundo para sa lahat ng nilikha!

Ang hindi nananampalataya???

Pagnilayan natin itong napakagandang awit na isinulat ni David Foster, I BELIEVE (na isinalin sa Tagalog) –

ang tawanan ng mga bata

OO, AKO AY NANINIWALA!

Ako’y naniniwala sa mga tao

ng lahat ng bansa

na magsama at magmahalan

sa pag-ibig.

Ako’y naniniwala sa isang mundo

kung saan ang liwanag

ay gagabay sa atin,

at sa pamamagitan ng

pagbibigay ng ating pag-ibig,

gagawin natin ang langit sa lupa.

AKO AY NANINIWALA!”

Pinasasalamatan ka namin Panginoon, sa biyaya ng pananampalataya. KAMI AY SUMASAMPALATAYA SA IYO!
