Caritas Manila and Veritas 846 Radio Totoo appeal for prayers for Divine protection and to extend our help through our donations in cash and in kind for the relief and rehabilitation needs of our kababayans in Parola Compound, Tondo, Manila who were affected by the fire.
Based from the data of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire which started at 9 p.m. on February 7, 2017, reached Task Force Delta as personnel had a difficult time navigating through narrow streets. The fire was declared under control at around 6:30 a.m. and was put out at 7:24 a.m. Authorities have yet to estimate the extent of the damage of the fire.
Their most immediate needs include food and water, clothes, hygiene items, blankets, trapal, and banig.
