Naniniwala sina Australian Priest at Dynamic Evangelist Father Rob Galea at Theologian and Pastoral Consultant Dra.Cristina Kheng na malaki ang maitutulong ng pananampalatayang Pilipino sa pagpapalaganap ng mabuting balita sa buong mundo.
Ito ay ang mensaheng ipinarating ng dalawang tagapagsalita at participants sa huling araw ng 11th Philippine Conference on New Evangelization sa idinaos sa University of Santo Tomas.
Ayon kay Fr. Galea, maaring masimulan ang pagpapalaganap ng pananampalataya, higit na para sa mga kabataan sa pagtukoy kung saan sila namamalagi at nagtitipon.
Tinukoy ng pari ang pagpapalaganap ng pananampalataya sa mga Video Games at Online Forums o Platforms kung saan matatagpuan ang mga kabataan na ginugugol ang kanilang libreng oras.
“Where we have to stop now being a missionary disciples in videogaming – who would have thought that was necessary before, but now we have now to proclaim the Gospel in Roblox, because thats where our young people are, and what are we doing as the church?.but heres the point, I have to have those uncomfortable conversations that comes with set of moral issues for example, I don’t know – but the answewr is “I need to do something”, correct me if I’m wrong with this but this is where I stand,” ayon sa panayam ng Radyo Veritas kay Fr.Galea.
Ipinaalala naman ni Dra.Kheng na ang pagpapalaganap ng pananampalataya ay pang araw-araw na gawain sa tulong ng panginoon.
Inihayag ni Kheng na sa na pakikipagkapwa-tao at saan sama-samang naglalakbay ay buhay na saksi ng pagmamahal at himala ng Panginoon para sa kapwa.
“People are also evangelized by ‘Your living witness’, it is not just what you see, it is how you live, what you do, how people encounter you, ‘do your friends feel Christ from your presence?, are you a loving person?, how do you relate with people, do you show mercy kindness and mercy and love, do they experience you as a different person because you are a believer?’ – if believing doesn’t make you different from non-believer, then, you should examine how are you living out your belief, so, the witness of life, of action, of relationships – that is very important as well,” ayon naman sa panayam ng Radyo Veritas kay Dra. Kheng.
Ngayong July 20 ang huling Araw ng PCNE 11 sa UST kasama ang may limang libong participants mula sa Archdiocese of Manila, iba pang mga diyosesis at religous organizations and congregations.
