Pormal nang ipinakilala ng Metrobank Foundation ang mga indibidwal na bibigyang parangal at pagkilala sa 2019 METROBANK Foundation Outstanding Filipino.
Ito ay binubuo ng mga indibidwal mula sa ibat ibang sektor sa lipunan na may pagpapahalaga sa kani-kanilang mga propesyon at nagbibigay ng malaking kontribusyon sa komunidad na kinabibilangan.
Kabilang sa pararangalan ngayong 2019, ang 4 na mga guro, 3 sundalo at 3 kawani ng Philippine National Police.
Sa hanay ng mga guro pararangalan sina Dr. Dorothy Tarol, Ph.D ng Iloilo Special Education-Integrated School for Exceptional Children (SPED-ISEC), Dr. Cristina Cristobal, Ph.D, Special Science Teacher 5 Philippine Science High School Main Campus Quezon City, Dr. Ricardo Jose, Ph.D., Professor 12 College of Social Sciences and Philosophy, University of the Philippines Diliman at Dr. Eva Maria Dela Paz, M.D., Professor 10 College of Medicine, University of the Philippines Manila.
Sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) sina Master Sergeant Ramil Caporas, Team Supervisor, Explosive Ordinance Disposal Battalion, Army Support Command, Philippine Army, Camp Servillano Aquino, Major Romulo Dimayuga II PN (M), Former Operations and Training Officer, Force Reconnaissance Group at Lt. Col. John Paul Baldomar PA, Chief, Current Operations Branch, Internal Security Operations Division, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations ng AFP.
At sa panig naman ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sina Police Chief Master Sergeant Marsha Agustin, RSW , Investigator, Women and Children Protection Center, Police Major Robert Reyes, Technical Support Officer, Counter Intelligence Task Force, at Pol. Col. Edwin Quilates, Provincial Director, Batangas Police Provincial Office.
Bawat awardee ay tatanggap ng P1, 000, 000; golden medallion at ang iconic na Flame Trophy.
Mula 1985 umabot na sa 665 ang mga Outstanding Filipino na kinilala ng Metrobank Foundation sa pakikipagtulungan sa Department of Education, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Commission on Higher Education, Philippine National Police, PS Bank, Rotary Club of Makati Metro at Rotary Club of New Manila East.
