The Catholics are invited to pray and take part in the Eucharistic Celebration in honor of the nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary at the Radio Veritas Chapel on September 8, 2016.
The Mass to be presided by Rev. Fr. Arlo Yap, SVD will be held on Thursday, her feast day from 12:15nn to 1:00pm at Radio Veritas Chapel, 2nd Floor, Veritas Tower, 162 West Avenue corner EDSA, Quezon City.
Veneration of Mary and Mariology was from the official declarations, Marian writings of the saints, popular devotion, and reported Marian apparitions. One of the components of the Catholic veneration of Mary is the focus on her participation in the processes of salvation and redemption.
As His Holiness Pope Francis said, the Blessed Virgin Mary is the mother of mercy full of hope, grace and holy gladness.
“The gift that Mary bestows in offering us Jesus is the forgiveness which renews life, enables us once more to do God’s will and fills us with true happiness. This grace frees the heart to look to the future with the joy born of hope,” Pope Francis said.
