Ang Mabuting Balita ng Panginoon ayon kay San Lucas
Noong panahong iyon, matapos palayasin ni Jesus ang isang demonyo, nanggilalas ang mga tao. Ngunit may ilan sa kanila ang nagsabi, “Si Beelzebul na prinsipe ng mga demonyo ang nagbigay sa kanya ng kapangyarihang magpalayas ng mga demonyo.” May iba namang nais siyang subukin, kaya’t nagsabi, “Magpakita ka ng kababalaghang magpapakilala na ang Diyos ang sumasaiyo.” Ngunit batid ni Jesus ang kanilang iniisip, kaya’t sinabi sa kanila, “Babagsak ang bawat kahariang nahahati sa magkakalabang pangkat at mawawasak ang mga bahay roon. Kung maghimagsik si Satanas laban sa kanyang sarili, paano mananatili ang kanyang kaharian? Sinasabi ninyong nagpapalayas ako ng mga demonyo sapagkat binigyan ako ni Beelzebul ng kapangyarihang ito. Kung ako’y nagpapalayas ng mga demonyo sa pamamagitan ni Beelzebul, sino naman ang nagbigay ng kapangyarihan sa inyong mga tagasunod na makagawa ng gayun? Sila na rin ang nagpapatunay na maling-mali kayo. Ngayon, kung ako’y nagpapalayas ng mga demonyo sa pamamagitan ng kapangyarihan ng Diyos, nangangahulugang dumating na sa inyo ang paghahari ng Diyos. “Kapag ang isang taong malakas at nasasandatahan ay nagbabantay sa kanyang bahay, malayo sa panganib ang kanyang ari-arian. Ngunit kung salakayin siya at talunin ng isang taong higit na malakas, sasamsamin nito ang mga sandatang kanyang inaasahan at ipamamahagi ang ari-ariang inagaw. “Ang hindi panig sa akin ay laban sa akin, at nagkakalat ang hindi tumutulong sa aking mag-ipon.
“Kapag lumabas na mula sa tao ang isang masamang espiritu, ito’y gumagala sa mga tigang na lugar at naghahanap ng mapagpapahingahan. Kung walang matagpuan ay sasabihin nito sa sarili, ‘Babalik ako sa bahay na aking pinanggalingan.’ Pagbabalik ay matatagpuan niyang malinis na ang bahay at maayos. Kaya, lalabas siyang muli at magsasama ng pito pang espiritung masasama kaysa kanya, at papasok sila at maninirahan doon. Kaya’t sumasama kaysa dati ang kalagayan ng taong iyon.”

Marami sa atin, ayaw nating makita ang mabuti kapag nakikita natin ito. Sa halip, gusto nating magmukhang masama ang mabuti. Ito ay totoo lalo na kung ayaw natin ang isang tao at kung ang tao ay kaaway natin. Kahit anong gawin ng taong ito, laging masama para sa atin. Dahil sa ating “BIASES,” laging hindi mananaig ang katotohanan. Marahil ayaw nating makita ang kabutihan ng taong ito sapagkat maaaring lumabas na tayo ang masama? Marahil naiinggit tayo sapagkat `di natin mapapantayan ang kabutihan ng taong ito? Anuman ang dahilan, ito ay isang PAGSISIKAP NG WALANG KABULUHAN sapagkat alam ng Diyos kung ano ang nasa puso ng taong ito. Hindi mababago ang pagtingin ng Diyos sa taong ito kahit ano pa ang opinyon o pananaw natin sa kanya, at hindi mababago kung sino at kung ano siyang tunay. Bakit hindi na lang tayo maging makatotohanan at hiwalayin ang masamang nararamdaman natin sa kung ano ang nakikita natin? Bakit hindi na lang nating tanggapin na sa tao, laging may mabuti at hindi mabuti, at kung tayo ay mabuti sa kanila, maaari ito ang maging simula ng pagbabago nila?
Sa kabila ng pagtrato na natanggap ni Jesus sa mga escriba at Pariseo, sa mga punong sacerdote, hindi siya gumanti kahit mayroon siyang kapangyarihang gawin ito. Itinuon niya ang kanyang oras sa pagbabalik-loob ng mga makasalanan, `pagkat nakita niya ang mabuti at hindi mabuti sa mga ito at naniwala siya na sila ay maaaring maging mabuti tulad ng sa simula, at manatiling mabuti.
Panginoong Jesus, nawa’y lagi naming tingnan ang aming kapwa kung paano mo sila tinitingnan, at patawarin mo kami sa mga pagkakataong hinayaan namin ang aming “biases” na maging hadlang sa aming pagpapakabuti!
