Videos of prayers for various intentions may now be accessed online through the YouTube channel of the leading faith-based AM station in Mega Manila, Radio Veritas 846.

“Prayers on call” may now be accessed by visiting Veritas846.ph, the official YouTube channel of Radio Veritas 846. The prayers on videos, led by priest-anchors of the station, includes “Panalangin para sa Katarungan, Pagkakaisa, at Kapayapaan” (Prayer for justice, unity and peace), “Panalangin sa Panahon ng Kalungkutan” (Prayer in times of sadness), “Panalangin para sa mga Manggagawa sa Ibang Bansa” (Prayers for overseas workers), “Panalangin para sa Kabataan” (Prayer for the youth), “Panalangin para Ipag-adya sa mga Kalamidad” (Prayer for protection against calamities), “Panalangin para sa may Malubhang Karamdaman” (Prayer for sickness) and Prayer against the death penalty.

Radio Veritas President Rev Fr. Anton C.T. Pascual believes the social media is an effective avenue to reach Catholics especially the youth who are technology-savvy, and that we should make use of networks and applications to spread the word of God.

“As we aim to bring the Catholic Church closer to the people, we are happy to provide “Prayers on Call” for different intentions that can help and guide the Catholic faithful for all their prayer requests and needs,” Fr. Pascual said.

Fr. Pascual added that the station’s video production team is working to expand the current playlist to include other intentions and novenas that may suit the different needs of the faithful.

“Prayers on call” is part of the initiatives of Radio Veritas in expanding the Church in multimedia as the Catholic Church prepares for the celebration of the 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines.

Radio Veritas 846, the number one faith-based Radio in the Philippines, is owned and operated by the Archdiocese of Manila. Established in 1969, the Ramon Magsaysay recipient Catholic radio station continues to be the leading social communications ministry for truth and new evangelization in the country today.
