Mariing pinabulaanan ng Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) ang mga alegasyon ng pagkakasangkot sa anumang uri ng anomalya, pandaraya at pagkondisyon sa publiko kaugnay sa resulta ng nakalipas na May 9, 2022 elections.
Binigyang diin ng election watchdog ang katapatan at kredibilidad ng organisasyon gayundin ng lahat ng mga nagsilbing PPCRV volunteers na nagbantay sa kabuuang proseso ng nakalipas na halalan.
“In the interest of truth and in defense of the thousands of PPCRV volunteers who gave time and resources to help ensure and verify the credibility of our elections, we feel it our responsibility to refute the allegations alluded to PPCRV’s role in allegedly conditioning the public’s mind on the results of the election.” pahayag ng PPCRV.
Tinukoy ng PPCRV ang alegasyon at pagdawit sa organisasyon ng grupong TNT Trio na pinangungunahan ni former Secretary Eliseo Rio na kumukwesyon sa inconsistencies sa naganap na transmission ng election results sa pagitan ng Comelec’s central server at Transparency Server na nagbibigay ng transmission data sa mga accredited groups tulad ng media, political parties, NAMFREL at ang PPCRV.
“In recent weeks, the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) has been dragged into the fray between Comelec and the TNT Trio headed by former Secretary Eliseo Rio. The Group has questioned the accuracy of the results of the election based on inconsistencies in the transmission of the results between the Transparency Server and the Comelec’s Central Server and the “impossible” speed with which the results were received by the Transparency Server, insinuating the existence of some anomaly in the 2022 elections.” Pagbabahagi ng PPCRV.
Bahagi ng mandato ng organisasyon bilang citizens’ arm na magsagawa ng unofficial parallel count sa resulta ng halalan at pagsasagawa ng counterchecking sa mga electronically transmitted results mula Transparency Server sa pamamagitan ng ika-apat na kopya ng election returns.
Ayon sa PPCRV, lumabas sa kanilang isinagawang Unofficial Parallel Count na 99.84% na match ang mga datos mula sa electronically transmitted results galing sa Transparency Server at ang naka-imprenta sa ika-apat na kopya ng election returns na personal na kinolekta ng mga PPCRV volunteers mula sa iba’t ibang voting precints sa buong bansa.
Iginiit ng PPCRV na halos nagtutugma ang resulta ng kanilang isinagawang Unofficial Parallel Count sa resulta ng Random Manual Audit na isinagawa ng iba’t ibang election watchdog kabilang na ang Lente, PICPA at NAMFREL kung saan lumabas naman sa resulta ang 99.932% match rate.
Kaugnay nito, nagpahayag rin ng pakikiisa ang PPCRV sa panawagan ng Caritas Philippines sa Supreme Count na matiyak na mapreserba ang Election Transmission Data noong nakalipas halalan na upang patuloy na matiyak ang kredibilidad ng nagdaang eleksyon.
