“…Restorative justice will help preserve the innate dignity of the person.” Caritas Manila Executive Director Fr. Anton CT Pascual said in his editorial, pointing out the importance of Restorative Justice in individuals.
Caritas Manila’s Restorative Justice Program provides paralegal services to assert the implementation of a better justice system for those who have been incarcerated with or without due process, better solutions in handling cases and caring for the imprisoned as well as its victims.
The program also preserves the life and dignity of every human individual, reaching out to the victim’s families and individuals involved through values formation, counseling, and livelihood and income generating projects, and after-care that points toward healing, rehabilitation and restoration of these victims and persons involved.
