Ang Mabuting Balita, 04 Marso 2024 – Lucas 4: 24-30

“BLACK SHEEP”

Nang dumating si Jesus sa Nazaret, sinabi niya sa mga nasa sinagoga: “Tandaan ninyo: walang propetang kinikilala sa kanyang sariling bayan. Ngunit sinasabi ko sa inyo: maraming babaing balo sa Israel noong kapanahunan ni Elias nang hindi umulan sa loob ng tatlong tao’t kalahati at magkaroon ng matinding taggutom sa buong lupain. Subalit hindi sa kaninuman sa kanila pinapunta si Elias kundi sa isang babaing balo sa Sarepta, sa lupain ng Sidon. Sa dinami-dami ng mga ketongin sa Israel noong kapanahunan ni Eliseo, walang pinagaling isa man sa kanila; si Naaman pang taga-Siria ang pinagaling.” Galit na galit ang lahat ng nasa sinagoga nang marinig ito. Nagtindigan sila, at ipinagtabuyan siyang palabas, sa taluktok ng burol na kinatatayuan ng bayan, upang ibulid sa bangin. Ngunit dumaan siya sa kalagitnaan nila at umalis.

Kapag ang isang propeta ng Diyos ay nagwika ng Salita ng Diyos, ito ay “buhay at mabisa at higit na matalas kaysa sa alin mang tabak na may dalawang talim. Bumabaon ito hanggang sa ikapaghihiwalay ng kaluluwa at ng espiritu at ng kasu-kasuan at utak ng buto. Nakakatalos ito ng mga pag-iisip at mga saloobin ng puso” (Hebreo 4: 12). Masakit ang katotohanan kung ayaw natin itong tanggapin, at kadalasa’y ayaw natin itong tanggapin kung ito ay nagmumula sa isang taong nakakikilala sa atin. Ito marahil ang dahilan kung bakit napakahirap maging propeta, lalo na sa ating pamilya mismo. Ang anak na nagsasalita ng katotohanan sa isang pamilyang mayroong aberya kadalasan ay tinatawag na “BLACK SHEEP,” masama at walang kwenta ayon sa ibang miyembro ng kanyang pamilya. Ngunit, sa katunayan, ang anak na tinatawag sa masamang pangalan, ang siyang mabuti sa pamilya sapagkat nakikita niya kung ano ang mali sa kanyang pamilya at inaayawan niyang maging katulad nila.

Si Jesus ay minaliit ng kanyang mga kababayan bilang anak lamang ng isang karpintero. Hindi nila matanggap ang kanyang mga itinuturo at ang kanyang mga dakilang gawa. Masyadong mahirap para sa kanila na tanggapin ang katotohanan.

Panginoon Jesus, napakalaking pribilehiyo para sa amin na matawag na iyong mga kapatid sa malaking pamilya ng Diyos!
