Isasagawa ng Diocese of Cubao ang 4th Migrant Family summit kasabay ng paggunita ng National Migrant Sunday sa ika-28 ng Setyembre ng kasalukuyang taon.
Magkatuwang sina Cubao Bishop Elias Ayuban Jr., Cubao Bishop emeritus Honesto Ongtioco at Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines-Episcopal Commission on Migrants and Itinerant People (CBCP-ECMI) sa selebrasyon ng family summit at NMS.
Layunin ng programa na mapalawak ang kaalaman ng mga mananampalataya sa pagsuporta at pagkalinga sa mga Overseas Filipino Worker (OFWs).
“With these continuing efforts, the Diocese of Cubao is now all set for the 4th Migrant Family Summit (MFS) in celebration of the National Migrants Sunday (NMS), which will be held on October 4, 2025, at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Quezon City.” mensahe ng diocese of Cubao.
Magsasama sa summit ang migrant families, parish representatives at mga lider ng simbahan sa isang araw na pananalangin, pagninilay at pagkakaisa.
The summit will gather migrant families, parish representatives, and Church leaders in a day of prayer, reflection, and solidarity, highlighting the theme of accompanying migrants and their loved ones in faith and hope,” ayon sa mensahe ng Diocese of Cubao.
Ang programa ay pakikiisa ng Diocese of Cubao sa national mission ng CBCP-ECMI na tiyaking hindi ma-iiwan ang mga migrante sa pangangalaga ng simbahan.
“The Diocese of Cubao remains committed to establishing a fully functional Migrant’s Ministry in all its parishes, in line with the national mission of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines–Episcopal Commission for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People (CBCP-ECMI) to ensure that no migrant is left behind in the Church’s pastoral care#migrantministryinaction,” bahagi pa ng mensahe ng Diyosesis.
Sa tala, 36 mula sa 48-parokya sa Diyosesis ang mayroong aktibong Migrant’s Ministries (DCMM) na kumakalinga at pinapatibay ang pastoral care para sa OFW at Filipino Migrants.
Bukod sa summit ay nagkakaroon na rin ng buwanang pagtitipon sa mga parokya upang tiyakin na nagpapatuloy at napapatibay ang migrant’s pastoral care sa Diocese of Cubao.
