Lord, Judas betrayed You. Judas sold You for thirty pieces of silver, but he lost hope. He thought that it was the end of the road for him. He thought what he had done was beyond reparation. He thought there was no second chance. Peter denied You. But Peter saw beyond this sin lay much hope, much love, so much so that even if Peter denied You three times, You still gave Him a chance.

You wanted to give Judas a chance but he refused to accept it. You gave a chance to Peter and He accepted it gratefully.

Lord, I have sinned like Judas. I have sinned like Peter. Let me never lose hope. Let me never be discouraged. Let me never give up on trying.

Sometimes I get discouraged because I confess the same sins over and over again. Sometimes I feel embarrassed because my sins are repeated a million times over. I tremble in shame. I am disgusted with myself for my slow progress.

I may be discouraged lord, but You will never be discouraged with me. I may be a disappointment to other people but you are never disappointed because with You there is so much hope. You see much opportunity in me, a wicked sinner.

Lord, I will not give up. I will not give up on trying. I will try to be better. I will try to be good. I will try to reform. I give no assurance bat I will not fall again, or ever. But Lord, when I fall, bring me back to You. Lord, when I forget, remind me of Your love. When I am lost, show me the way.

Lord, I will not give up because I know You will never give up on me. Lord, do not grow tired of forgiving me. Lord, do not grow tired of me.

Ngunit dito sa Pilipinas, mas madalas na interes ng iilang

GOD DOES NOT LIKE MIRACLES
