Ang Mabuting Balita, 6 Marso 2024 – Mateo 5: 17-19

LAHAT TUNGKOL SA PAG-IBIG

Noong panahong iyon, sinabi ni Jesus sa kanyang mga alagad: “Huwag ninyong akalaing naparito ako upang pawalang-bisa ang Kautusan at ang aral ng mga propeta. Naparito ako, hindi upang pawalang-bisa kundi para ipaliwanag at ganapin ang mga iyon. Tandaan ninyo ito: magwawakas ang langit at ang lupa, ngunit ang kaliit-liitang bahagi ng Kautusan ay di mawawalan ng bisa hangga’t hindi nagaganap ang lahat. Kaya’t sinumang magpawalang-halaga kahit sa kaliit-liitang bahagi nito, at magturo nang gayun sa mga tao, ay ibibilang na pinakamababa sa kaharian ng Diyos. Ngunit ang gumaganap ng Kautusan at nagtuturo na tuparin iyon ay ibibilang na dakila sa kaharian ng Diyos.”

Ibinigay ng Diyos kay Moises ang Sampung Utos at saklaw nito ang lahat. Subalit, mula sa orihinal na sampung utos, pinarami ito ng mga Judio sa maliliit na detalye at tinawag itong Kautusan ni Moises. Kaya’t ang utos ng Diyos ay naging napakaselan at mabigat sundin ng mga tao. Napakadali magkasala dahil sa pagka-ignorante sa mga batas na ito. Ipinagmamalaki ng mga eskriba at mga Pariseo na sila ang mga dalubhasa sa Kautusan ni Moises kaya’t lagi silang nakamasid sa kung sino ang lalabag sa mga ito, kabilang na rito si Jesus. Siyempre, si Jesus bilang Anak ng Diyos ang pinaka-dalubhasa sa Sampung Utos at ang mga ito ay ipinaliwanag niya sa mga tao hindi bilang mga batas na dapat katakutan, kundi mga batas na magdadala sa atin sa tamang daan; mga batas na magliligtas sa atin sa demonyo; mga batas na maghahatid sa atin sa buhay na walang hanggan. Kailangan nating alalahanin na ang nagbigay ng Sampung Utos kay Moises ay ang DIYOS NG PAG-IBIG. Samakatuwid, ang kanyang mga batas LAHAT TUNGKOL SA PAG-IBIG.
