The Kapanalig especially the Marian devotees have something new to listen to over Veritas846 as the station airs new program, ‘Cenacle sa Veritas’ intended to deepen the faith of the people to the Blessed Virgin Mary every Thursday starting on March 23, 2017 from 8pm to 9pm.
The program is made possible by the various Marian cenacle groups as part of their initiatives in answering the call of the Catholic Bishops’ of the Philippines (CBCP) to live the consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
The Marian cenacle groups personally chose Rev. Fr. Romerico ‘Omer’ Prieto as the resource speaker of the program. Fr. Prieto is from the Diocese of Cubao and is a member of its Pastoral Team and the parish priest of St. Anthony of Padua Parish located in West Riverside cor. Lincoln Sts., San Francisoco Del Monte, Quezon City. He’s been giving different Marian groups in the Philippines guidance on living their Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Fr. Omer Prieto will be joined by Ms. Reeza Joaquin who is a Marian devotee through Cenacle since 2008 as his co-anchor for the program.
The program will invite laypeople every week to pray the cenacle with the anchors. The program will also feature discussion about the cenacle and how to live life with consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It will also feature the praying of one decade of the rosary and Gospel reading.
Radio Veritas President Rev. Fr. Anton C.T. Pascual invites the public to listen to the new program of the station.
“Kapanalig, we offer you a new program called ‘Cenacle sa Veritas. Through this program we aim to strengthen and deepen our faith in God and in Mary by becoming more prayerful to form a great barrier against the spread of evil and sin in today’s world,” Fr. Pascual said.
Radio Veritas 846 is owned and operated by the Archdiocese of Manila. Established in 1969, the Ramon Magsaysay recipient Catholic radio station continues to be the leading social communications ministry for truth and evangelization in the country today.
