VERY BIG EDGE

Jesus said, “What is the Kingdom of God like? To what can I compare it? It is like a mustard seed that a man took and planted in the garden. When it was fully grown, it became a large bush and the birds of the sky dwelt in its branches.”

Again he said, “To what shall I compare the Kingdom of God? It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed in with three measures of wheat flour until the whole batch of dough was leavened.”

————

It doesn’t matter if there are only a few of us working to build God’s Kingdom, as long as we practice the Christian virtues of FAITH, HOPE and LOVE, more and more people would want to be part and take part in the building of the kingdom. It is not only evil that is contagious. Goodness is also contagious, but has a VERY BIG EDGE over evil because the Omnipotent God is the source of goodness and the devil can never overpower God. It is simply impossible!

Let us reflect on this song written by John Burland, BUILDING GOD’S KINGDOM –
We’re building God’s Kingdom.
We’re building God’s Kingdom.
Bringing love, justice and peace.
We’re spreading the Good News.
We’re spreading the Good News
through what we say and what we do.
We’re building God’s Kingdom in every way.
Go and share God’s love
with all the people of our world.
Stand together side by side.
We’re all God’s family.
Act with an open heart.
We all can play a part.
Live in peace and harmony.
Reach out so others see.
Show God’s love in all you do.
Let your light shine bright.
Be the face and hands of God.
So others they will know.
