Muling umapela ng suporta ang Philippine Jesuit Prison Service (PJPS) para sa taunang Simple Offering of Affection for PDLs Project ng organisasyon bilang bahagi ng paggunita ng 36th Prison Awareness Week ngayong taon.
Layunin ng proyekto na makapagkaloob ng mga hygiene kits partikular na ng mga sabong pampaligo, panlaba at ointment para sa mga bilanggo sa New Bilibid Prison (NBP) at Correctional Institute for Women (CIW) sa Mandaluyong City.

Ayon sa organisasyon, mahalagang matiyak ang kalinisan ng mga bilanggo na higit na lantad sa iba’t ibang sakit dahil sa pagsisiksikan sa mga bilangguan.
Tema ng 36th Prison Awareness Sunday ang “The Correctional Community: Journeying Together in Mutual Support on a Mission of Love” na layuning paigtingin ang pagmimisyon para sa kapakanan ng mga Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) o mga bilanggo.
Ang Philippine Jesuit Prison Service (PJPS) ay ang socio-pastoral apostolate ng Society of Jesus (Philippine Province) na nagkakaloob ng iba’t ibang mga serbisyo at programa tulad ng holistic rehabilitation sa mga bilanggo o Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).
