EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES

Mary set out in those days and traveled to the hill country in haste to a town of Judah, where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said, “Most blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For at the moment the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the infant in my womb leaped for joy. Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the Lord would be fulfilled.”

————

It was John the Baptist who leapt in the womb of Elizabeth. The miracle of an infant born to barren and old parents, met yet another miracle of an infant born to a virgin. These are EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES that can happen only by the powerful grace of God, and which happen for a very IMPORTANT REASON. Truly, with God, nothing is impossible or everything is possible.
If we believe in this deep down in our hearts, we will always have the chance to recognize God working in our lives through small and big miracles, and thereupon base our decisions in life. It will surely put us on the right path.

Lord, help us pay attention to the workings of your Holy Spirit in our lives!
