“Foligno played a central role both at the beginning and at the end of the story of Saint Francis, acts as a connecting and linking structure, this show is being staged by a Company that has a history of education, sociality and inclusion, which belongs to our Christian soul. From Foligno comes not only a work of art, which I hope will be appreciated, but also a message that will help us understand the Franciscan centenaries. I am happy and proud of this story of collaboration that is born around a great project that involves both dioceses. And I would like this work to be performed in Assisi too, where everything happened,” ayon sa mensahe ni Bishop Sorrentino na ipinadala sa Radio Veritas.
“A real connection has been created, which has allowed those who deal with disabilities to overcome all limits, a splendid contrast between emptiness and sweetness has been created: the emptiness that Francis feels inside himself, despite the din of everyday life, is filled by the sweetness of God and materializes in a Roman mostacciolo that hides all of God’s compassion and that helps Francis himself to have mercy on himself and others and to accept all creatures, including the body which is mortal. What we will propose will be an unedited Francis, with a historical slant, a real figure,” ayon sa mensahe ni Casuzzi na ipinadala sa Radio Veritas.
Taong 1224 ng isulat ni Saint Francis of Assisi ang Canticle of Creatures na kilala rin bilang Canticle of the Sun o Laudes Creaturarum na paanyaya sa bawat nilalang na paigtingin o sama-samang purihin at sambahin ang Diyos na may galak at pagasa sa puso.
