Isinulong ni San Carlos Bishop Gerardo Alminaza at United Church of Christ in the Philippines Bishop Joseph Agpaoa ang pagtutulungan ng bawat isang bumubuo ng simbahan, mga Pilipino at iba pa upang maging modern day good Samaritan.
“You are the anchors, the prayerfully present, and the activists who create waves and instigate ‘good-trouble’ towards social transformation. You accompany those who seek justice and accountability. You are the peacebuilders and human rights defenders. You have chosen to stand with our kababayan at the margins,” ayon sa mensahe ni Bishop Alminaza sa PAGTATANIM Event.
“The road from Jerusalem to Jericho vividly pictures to us the kind of road we have been following as a Filipino nation. Like the road from Jerusalem to Jericho, the road that we are following has been a notoriously dangerous road. The recent war on drugs of the recent administration, the continued and systematic control of our nation’s wealth and resources by the few and powerful individuals; the continuing dynasty in our political system, the unhampered destruction of the environment in the name of development, the abuses being done against the rights and peace advocates, the uncontrollable and unstoppable proliferation of fake news, among others, would tell us that our road is like the road from Jerusalem to Jericho. There have been a lot of victims along the way,” bahagi naman ng Mensahe ni Bishop Agpaoa.
