Nagpahayag ng pakabahala ang Philippine Ecumenical Peace Platform (PEPP) sa pagkakapabilang ng ilang peace consultants ng National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) sa resolusyong naglalaman ng pangalan ng mga sinasabing terorista na isinapubliko ng Anti-Terrorism Council (ATC).
Sa opisyal na pahayag ng Philippine Ecumenical Peace Platform (PEPP) na pinamumunuan bilang co-chairperson nina Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro Archbishop Emeritus Antonio J. Ledesma, SJ, at Ecumenical Bishops Forum Bishop Rex B. Reyes, Jr. ay binigyang diin ng P-E-P-P na maaring magdulot ng masamang epekto ang naturang resolusyon sa patuloy na isinusulong na peace negotiations.
“The Philippine Ecumenical Peace Platform (PEPP) sounds its alarm over the inclusion of peace consultants of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) in the Resolution Number 17 (2021) by the Anti-Terrorism Council (ATC). The said resolution designated the peace consultants as alleged Central Committee members of the Communist Party of the Philippines and the New People’s Army pursuant to the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020. This will have far reaching and adverse repercussions on the GRP-NDFP Peace Negotiations which the PEPP has faithfully supported and advocated for”. pahayag ng (PEPP).
Ayon sa P-E-P-P, bagamat ipinahinto ng kasalukuyang administrasyon ang peace talks ay nananatili ang kanilang tiwala sa tapat at tunay na pagnanais ng lahat ng mga bumubuo sa GRP-NDFP Negotiating Panels na makamit ang kapayapaan at pagkakasundo sa pamamagitan ng pagdadayalogo.
Ikinadismaya ng mga Obispo ang pagkakapabilang ng mga peace consultants at peace advocates sa naturang listahan ng mga tinaguriang terorista na naghahasik ng kaguluhan sa bansa.
Bukod sa labis na pagkabagabag dulot ng Resolution Number 17 (2021) ng Anti-Terrorism Council (ATC), muli ring binigyang diin ng Philippine Ecumenical Peace Platform ang mariing paninindigan ng grupo laban sa Anti-Terrorism Law na hindi solusyon sa matagal ng hinahangad na kapayapaan.
“Thus, we express our utter dismay over Resolution Number 17 (2021) and we reiterate our stand against the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020 that it will not serve to end the conflicts of our land. The breakdown of the GRP-NDFP peace negotiations along with the implementation of the Anti-Terrorism Law have contributed significantly to an increase in human rights violations and the worsening climate of impunity in the country.” Dagdag pa ng P-E-P-P
Giit ng grupo makakamit lamang ang kapayapaan kung magkakaroon ng matalino at malalim na pagtalakay sa pinagmulan ng kaguluhan.at hindi pagkakasundo.

Nasasaad sa inilabas na Anti-Terrorism Council (ATC) Resolution No. 16 at 17 noong ika-13 ng Mayo, 2021 na pirmado at inaaprubahan ni National Security Adviser (NSA) Hermogenes C. Esperon Jr. ang listahan ng pinangalanang indibidwal na tinuturing na terorista.
