Magtitipon ang nasa 400 mga opisyal at dalubhasa mula sa energy companies sa Pilipinas at iba’t ibang panig ng mundo upang muling talakayin ang mga pag-unlad at iba pang usapin hinggil sa pagnanais na magkaroon ng malinis na enerhiya.
Ito ang 3rd Clean Energy Philippines Conference | Expo 2024 na gaganapin sa September 5, 2024 mula alas-9 ng umaga hanggang alas-6 ng gabi sa EDSA Shangri-La Manila sa Mandaluyong City.
Tema ng gawain ang “Illuminating the Path to Sustainable Tomorrow” na pagtutuunan ang mga pagsulong sa pagkakaroon ng malinis na enerhiya sa pamamagitan ng rooftop at utility-scale solar, energy storage solutions, at offshore wind energy.
Inorganisa ito ng Escom events, katuwang ang Department of Energy Philippines (DOE), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), DOST-Industrial Technology Development Institute (ITDI); Maps & Globe Specialist, Energy Business Review; at Veritas 846.
“It will explore trends, financing, and integration of solar energy, the role of storage technologies in grid stability, and the potential for offshore wind development, addressing related challenges. The event aims to provide insights into the future of clean energy in the region,” ayon sa pahayag.
Mahigit 40 speakers at panelists ang inaasahang magbabahagi ng mga kaalaman at pananaw kaugnay sa pagpapabilis ng sektor ng renewable energy sa Pilipinas. Magsisilbing panauhing pandangal si DOE Undersecretary, Atty. Felix William Fuentebella at ibabahagi ang paksang ‘Philippine Energy Plan 2023-2050: The Path to a Clean Energy Future’, habang pangunahing tagapagsalita naman si DOE Assistant Secretary Mylene Capongcol para sa ‘The Philippines: A Renewable Energy Powerhouse – Our Journey to Energy Independence’.
Kabilang pa sa mga magsasalita sina Philippine Solar and Storage Energy Alliance President Ping Mendoza; Retail Electricity Suppliers Association of the Philippines President Raymond Carl Roseus; at Energy Lawyers Association of the Philippines Chairman emeritus, Atty. Pedro Maniego, Jr.
Tampok din sa pagtitipon ang pagtatanghal ng mga world-class innovations, solutions, at products na may kaugnayan sa sektor ng enerhiya.
Sa Laudato Si’ ni Pope Francis, hinikayat nito ang pagpapalawak sa paggamit ng renewable energy upang matugunan ang kakulangan sa kuryente, at palitan ang mga fossil fuels na nagdudulot ng pinsala sa kalikasan.
