Radio Veritas, the leading faith-based AM station in the Philippines, will air the feast day activities of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish in Marilao, Bulacan on September 29, 2017.

Listeners of Radio Veritas will be able to hear live reports and interviews in its programs Barangay Simbayanan and Pamilya Mo, Pamilya Ko from eight in the morning till noon.

The public may also visit the Veritas booth to avail of religious and souvenir items on sale as well as to join or renew their membership to the Kapanalig community.

The Saint Michael the Archangel Church, also known as Marilao Chruch is a 19th-century Roman Catholic Church located at Brgy. Poblacion I in Marilao, Bulacan. According to historical records Rev Fr. Vicente de Talavera erected the first church onApril 21, 1796 simultaneously with the founding of the town and parish of Marilao. St. Michael the Archangel was enthroned patron saint. A bigger church was constructed in 1848 and was finished in 1868. It was gutted by fire during the Fil-American War.

The church was reconstructed to its original size in 1922. Restoration was fully done in 1967 under the supervision of Fr. Jose M. Salas. In 1997, a historical marker bearing the brief history of the church was installed by the National Historical Institute, precursor of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines.

Barangay Simbayanan airs from Monday to Friday from 8 to 10 am. Anchored by Ms. Angelique Lazo with different priests for each day, the news and social concerns program features Church ministries, commissions, organizations and lay groups that responds to a particular need of a sector or community.

Meanwhile, Pamilya Mo, Pamilya Ko also airs from Monday to Friday, from 10 to 11:55 in the morning. The magazine program discusses family matters and is anchored by Bernard Cañaberal, Jovie Barreto and Mk Guaño from Couples for Christ (CFC) with priest anchors. In behalf of Mr. Cañaberal and Ms. Barretto, Radio Veritas radio platform head Riza Mendoza will join Mk Guaño on the coverage of the feast day of Saint Michael the Archangel parish.
