Nagpahayag ng suporta at pagkilala ang Dicastery for Communication of the Holy See sa inilunsad na Pastoral Communication Research Institute ng Diocese of Kalookan na naglalayong palakasin ang misyon ng Simbahan sa pagpapalaganap ng mabuting salita ng Diyos.
Sa pamamagitan ng isang liham ay ipinaabot ni Theological-Pastoral Department Director Natasa Govekar ang pagkilala at suporta ng Dicastery for Communication of the Holy See sa panibagong misyon at adbokasiya ng Diyosesis ng Kalookan na higit na palaganapin ang ebanghelyo sa pamamagitan ng pakikinig sa mga saloobin at pangangailangan ng mamamayan.
“On behalf of our Prefect, Mr. Paolo Ruffini, and of the Dicastery for Communication of the Holy See, I wish to extend a sincere appreciation and encouragement for this new mission of the Diocese of Kalookan to open a research institute dedicated to Church’s communication. Especially the focus on the new needs and languages of the people to whom the Diocese instends to address the proclamation of the good news of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Chrust is very much valued.” mensahe ni Govekar.
Ayon sa opisyal ng Vatican, mahalaga ang iba’t ibang inisyatibo at pagsusumikap ng bawat diyosesis at mga lokal na komunidad upang higit na mapag-alab ang misyon ng Simbahan alinsunod sa panawagan ng Santo Papa Francisco na pakikinig at pakikipagdayalo tungo sa ganap na pakikipag-ugnayan sa bawat isa.
“Indeed, we consider very important for the Church that dioceses and local communities respond with creativity and commitment to call for listening and dialogue that Pope Francis never ceases to repeat, especially at this time when the universal Church is rediscovering its synodal nature,” dagdag pa ni Govekar.
Unang inihayag ni Kalookan Bishop Pablo Virgilio David, pangulo ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) na ang konsepto ng Pastoral Communication Research Institute na inilunsad ng diyosesis ay tugon sa panawagang synodality ng Santo Papa Francisco.
Gayundin sa kultura ng pakikipagdayalogo upang magabayan ang Simbahan na higit na maging epektibong tagapagpalaganap ng ebanghelyo sa pamamagitan ng pagwaksi ng anumang kasinungalingan partikular na ang disinformation sa lipunan.
