“This College of Education is very steep in Dominican Tradition and Spiritually, the building itself is after the great teacher Albert the Great and in the Dominican Tradition education is deep contemplation and then going out for apostolic activity, so ang pag-aaral po natin ng bokasyon dito sa unibersidad na ito ay very dominican, off course catholic but very Dominican, we are encouraged, we have our hearts burning in learning so that so that if we go out and share the fruits of contemplation, also I would like to note that the founding of College of Education as our speakers have noted is a very progressive move in the Catholic Church, and Dominicans known to be conservative sometimes were very progressive during that time to offer the college of education, to offer the doors of College of Education to women-young women and to convince the Holy See to open its doors to women,” ayon sa panayam ng Radyo Veritas kay Fr.Pangan.
“And also to mandate to be an ally of the church in evangelization and formation, the very reason why the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines approach us in order to organize the National Institute for Catechism Evangelizers, so that is one of the needs, and I think very important also is we are one of the very few colleges where teacher education institutions in the country that offer religion in values education major, so these are the student who would later on teach christian living education into private schools and they may also able to become lay ministers or people who are engage in social apostolate and they may work as catechist in the church in the different dioceses,” ayon sa panayam ng Radyo Veritas kay Romero.
