Nagsagawa ang National Historical Commission of the Philippines ng limang araw na capacity-building at co-creation workshop para sa pastoral community ng Our Lady of the Assumption Parish sa Magarondon, Cavite bilang bahagi ng pagsusulong ng pangangalaga at pagpapanatili ng cultural heritage ng bansa.

Idinaos ang “Ingat Yaman: Capacity-Building and Co-Creation Workshop on Heritage Preservation” mula noong Mayo 11 hanggang 15, 2026 kung saan lumahok ang mga miyembro ng komunidad sa mga lecture hinggil sa conservation concepts at techniques, hands-on workshops para sa built heritage interventions, at pagsasanay sa paggawa ng heritage preservation manual.

“The National Historical Commission of the Philippines completed a five-day training and co-creation workshop for the pastoral community of the Our Lady of the Assumption Parish of Maragondon, Cavite as part of its ongoing efforts to support key communities in documenting, preserving, and protecting our nation’s heritage.”

“Through SHARE Heritage, communities are given access to platforms that give them resources, repositories for their local documentation, that is validated both by experts and culture bearers. Through the shared knowledge initiatives, they gain necessary tools and practices that help them become better stewards, coupled with lasting engagement with experts, stakeholders, and other partners; contribute meaningfully for the protection of our culture.”

Ang Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, na kinikilalang National Cultural Treasure ng National Museum of the Philippines, ang nagsilbing pilot site ng proyekto katuwang ang Municipal Government of Maragondon at Diocese of Imus sa pamamagitan ng Ministry for the Cultural Heritage of the Church ng diyosesis.
