Nagpaabot ng pasasalamat ang pamunuan ng Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) sa University of Santo Tomas na nagsilbing tahanan ng election watchdog ng simbahan sa katatapos lang na 2022 National and Local Elections.
Ayon sa pamunuan ng PPCRV, naaangkop na lugar ang UST Quadricentennial Pavilion na nagsilbing PPCRV-KBP Command Center na pinagdausan ng 12-araw na operasyon ng PPCRV Unofficial Parallel Count.
“We want to thank our host – the University of Santo Tomas – who has so generously allowed us to use their beautiful Quadricentennial Pavilion. Thank you, UST, for giving PPCRV a beautiful home for the 2022 National and Local Elections!” Ang bahagi ng mensahe ng PPCRV.
Pinasasalamatan din ng PPCRV ang lahat ng volunteers na nakibahagi sa misyon bilang pangunahing tagapagbantay ng Simbahang Katolika sa proseso ng halalan sa bansa.
Paliwanag ng PPCRV malaki ang bahaging ginampanan ng volunteers mula sa iba’t ibang mga parokya ng 86 na diyosesis sa buong bansa upang matiyak ang maayos, matapat at malinis na halalan.
Pinasalamatan din ng PPCRV ang lahat ng volunteers lalo na ang mga kabataan na nakibahagi sa Unofficial Parallel Count ng PPCRV sa UST Quadricentennial Pavilion.
“From our originally expected number of only 2,000 volunteers, this Arena has welcomed over 10,000 volunteers over the past 12 days. Our volunteers came from different parishes and schools, and there were also other individuals and barkadas who walked-in.” Dagdag pa ng PPCRV.
Ipinapaabot din ang pasasalamat sa mga nag-volunteer na mathematicians at statisticians mula sa iba’t ibang mga unibersidad.
“We thank the volunteer mathematicians and statisticians of the different universities, namely, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, University of the Philippines, University of Santo Tomas, and Far Eastern University, as they analyzed the data of the Transparency Servers that we shared with them, to ensure additional layers of the audit.”
Ika-20 ng Mayo nang nagtapos ang operasyon ng PPCRV sa PPCRV-KBP Command Center sa UST Quadricentennial Pavillion kung saan tiniyak ng pamunuan ng PPCRV ang pagpapatuloy ng kanilang isinasagawa unofficial parallel count sa resulta ng nakalipas na 2022 National and Local Elections sa kanilang tanggapan sa Pope Pius XII Catholic Center sa Pandacan, Maynila hanggang sa makapaglabas ng opisyal na pahayag sa kabuuang resulta ng halalan.
Ayon sa pamunuan ng organisasyon, “As long as we continue receiving election returns, we shall continue our manual validation of election returns to ensure that there has been no fraud in the electronic transmission. Please rest assured that PPCRV will be the first to call out any irregularity we find on these election returns, as we continue to do our work.”
