Radio Veritas, the leading faith-based AM station in Mega Manila, invites the public to be part of the Kapanalig community as Christmas is fast approaching.
Individuals who will join the Kapanalig community this Christmas season which will pledge Php 1,200 yearly will be given a free “Belen” or image of the Nativity and other gifts.
“Chirstmas is fast approaching. Let us all not forget that the true essence of our celebration is the birth of Christ. Celebrate in Christ, celebrate with the Holy Family, and celebrate with your Kapanalig Community!” Rev. Fr. Anton CT Pascual, Radio veritas President, said.
The “Belen”, a traditional Filipino Christmas symbol, is a creche or tableau representing the Nativity scene which depicts the infant Jesus Christ in the manger, surrounded by the Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, the shepherds, their flock, the Magi and some stable animals and angels.
Established in 2008, the Veritas Kapanalig Media Community On-Air is composed of individuals, Church institutions and organizations supporting Church’s social communications ministry.
In turn, they are provided with formation programs, special prayer intentions, blessings by bishops during their birthdays, and are able to take part in Biyayang Kapanalig and other on-air and online promotions by Radio Veritas.
