Radio Veritas, the leading faith-based AM radio station in Mega Manila, is set to air the Eucharistic celebration for the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes live from National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in Retiro, Quezon City on Sunday, February 11, 2018, 6 am
The radio station will preempt religious programs “Healing Grace” and “Ang Bibliya Ngayon” to give way for the live broadcast of the grand procession in honor of Our Lady of Lourdes also from 6 pm to 9 pm.
As part of the celebration, Radio Veritas profess their pledge of devotion to Our Lady of Lourdes at the Our Lady of Veritas Chapel in Quezon City (https://www.veritas846.ph/devotees-invited-profess-pledge-devotion-lady-lourdes/).
Radio Veritas President Rev. Fr. Anton CT Pascual encourages the faithful to join the celebration and honor our Blessed Mother.
“Let us profess our faith to Almighty God through our prayers to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Let us all remember that she is the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that she is also our only way to reunite with Him,” Fr. Anton said.
In 1858, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared eighteen times to Bernadette Soubirous, a 14 year old peasant girl while she was collecting fire woods near the grotto of Massabielle, near Lourdes, France. According to Bernadette Soubirous the Virgin Mary was dressed in white with equally white veil, blue belt and with yellow rose on each foot.
