Nagpaabot ng pagbati ang Aid to the Church in Need Philippines sa pagkakatalaga ng Santo Papa kay Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines Archbishop Gabriele Giordano Caccia bilang bagong kinatawan ng Vatican sa United Nations.
Ayon kay ACN Philippines National Director Jonathan Luciano buong puso ang pagbati at suporta ng buong pontifical foundation na ACN sa Pilipinas sa panibagong misyong gagampanan ni Archbishop Caccia bilang kinatawan ng Simbahan sa United Nations.
“ACN Philippines would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to His Excellency Archbishop Gabriele Giordano Caccia our beloved Papal Nuncio who now has a new assignment as the Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations,” ang bahagi ng pahayag ni Luciano sa panayam sa Radyo Veritas.
Nagpaabot rin ng pasasalamat si Luciano sa masigasig na suporta ni Archbishop Caccia at ng Apostolic Nunciature sa mga programa ng Aid to the Church in Need sa Pilipinas.
Inalala ni Luciano ang pagpapaunlak ng Arsobispo sa paanyaya ng ACN Philippines na pangunahan ang paggunita sa unang pagkakataon ng Pilipinas sa Red Wednesday noong ika-22 ng Nobyembre taong 2017, ilang araw nang maitalaga ang Arsobispo sa kanyang posisyon bilang kinatawan ng Vatican sa bansa.
“You know he was the first one to celebrate the Red Wednesday Mass during our first prayer campaign for persecuted Christians and he was so gracious to receive that invitation even if he has just arrived in the Philippines for his new assignment as Papal Nuncio, and after that we have been supported by the Apostolic Nunciature and the Apostolic Nuncio himself in all our activities, and we thank His Excellency for his prayers, for his Fatherly love and for his unwavering support to the Aid to the Church in Need,” ayon pa kay Luciano.
Nagpaabot rin ng panalangin ang Aid to the Church in Need Philippines para sa tagumpay ng panibagong misyong haharapin ni Archbishop Caccia bilang bagong Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations.
Taong 2017 ng itinalaga ni Pope Francis si Archbishop Caccia bilang kinatawan ng Vatican sa Pilipinas.
January 16, 2020 nakatakdang magtungo sa New York si Archbishop Caccia upang magsilbi sa kanyang bagong posisyon sa United Nations.
