Nagpaabot ng pagbati ang Kanyang Kabanalan Francisco para sa ika-50 anibersaryo ng pagkakatatag ng Association of Major Religious Superiors in the Philippines (AMRSP).
Sa pamamagitan ng isang liham mula kay Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin na ibinahagi ni Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines Archbishop Charles John Brown sa naganap na 2021 AMRSP Joint Biennial Online Convention ay ipinaabot ng Santo Papa ang kanyang taos-pusong pakikiisa at pagbati sa lahat ng kasapi ng AMRSP.
Bahagi rin ng mensahe ni Pope Francis ang panalangin na magsilbing inspirasyon para sa mga consecrated men and women sa bansa ang ika-50 anibersaryo ng AMRSP upang makatuklas ng mga bagong paraan ng pagiging epektibong saksi at tagapagbahagi ng Mabuting Balita ng Panginoon sa bawat komunidad.
“His Holiness Pope Francis sends cordial greetings as the Association of Major Religious Superiors in the Philippines celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of the common secretariat. His Holiness prays that the association’s forthcoming biennial joint convention will inspire the consecrated men and women in the Philippines to discern fresh ways of bearing witness to the joy of the Gospel and forming vital communities of missionary disciples.” Ang bahagi ng mensahe ng Pope Francis na ibinahagi ni Archbishop Brown.
Kinilala rin ni Pope Francis ang mahalaga at malaking papel na ginagampanan ng mga nagtalaga ng kanilang buhay sa pagpapari, pagmamadre at buhay konsakrato sa patuloy na paglago ng pananampalataya Kristiyano sa Pilipinas na ginugunita ang ika-limang sentenaryo ngayong taon.
Sinabi ng Santo Papa na malaki ang ambag ng iba’t-ibang gawain at misyon ng mga relihiyoso’t relihiyosa sa Pilipinas upang mapalawak ang pananampalatayang Kristiyano hindi lamang sa bansa kundi maging sa iba’t ibang panig ng mundo.
Bukod sa mensahe at panalangin, ipinaabot rin ni Pope Francis ang kanyang pagbabasbas para sa lahat ng mga kasapi ng AMRSP.
“In this way they will be renewed in their love of Christ and in fidelity to their proper charism in this year marking the 500 anniversary of evangelization of the Philippines, the Holy Father recalls with gratitude the contributions of generations of consecrated persons to the building up of the church through their multiple apostolates and work of charity. With great affection, Pope Francis entrust all taking part in the convention to the intersession of Mary, Mother of the Church and willingly imparts his apostolic blessing as a pledge of peace and joy in Jesus her Divine Son.” Dagdag pang mensahe ng Pope Francis.
Tema ng paggunita sa ika-50 taong pagkakatatag bilang samahan ng AMRSP ang “Singkwenta sa Limang Siglo: 50 Years of AMRSP on the 500th Year of Christianity in the Philippines, Celebrating the Gift of Consecrated Life in Mission at the Service of God and of Humanity.”
