Sinuportahan ng Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) ang paglulunsad ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines ng National Day of Prayer and Public Repentance.
Ayon sa CEAP, bilang samahan ng mga katolikong paaralan sa Pilipinas ay kanilang tungkulin na makiisa o pangunahan ang mga pagkilos upang labanan ang katiwalian lalu na ang nabunyag na korapsyon sa flood control ng projects ng pamahalaan na kinasasangkutan ng mga mambabatas, opisyal ng DPWH, COA at kakutsabang kontraktor.
“The Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) stands in full solidarity with the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines in its call for a National Day of Prayer and Public Repentance. We echo the Church’s urgent appeal for truth, transparency, and accountability amid revelations of corruption that deeply wound the moral fabric of our nation,” ayon sa pahayag at pakikiisa ng CEAP.
Kaugnay sa panawagan ng CBCP, hinimok ng CEAP sa mga kasaping paaralan, institusyon at samahan na makiisa sa idadaos na National Day of Prayer and Public Repentance bukas, October 07.
Iginiit ng CEAP na ang paninindigan at pakiisa ay upang maisulong ang katarungang panlipunan, katotohanan at maibalik ang tiwala ng mga Pilipino sa mga lider sa pribado at pampublikong sektor.
“As Catholic educators, we reaffirm our mission to form consciences rooted in integrity, justice, and service to the common good. We urge all Catholic schools to join in prayer, reflection, and renewed commitment to ethical leadership in both public and private life, Together, let us help rebuild our nation, one guided by truth, strengthened by faith, and healed by collective repentance,” bahagi pa ng mensahe ng CEAP.
