Inilunsad ng Archdiocese of Cebu sa pamamagitan ng Commission on the Laity ng Arkidiyosesis ang dalawang bagong konseho – ang Cebu Archdiocesan Council of Popular Devotions (CACPD) at Cebu Archdiocesan Council of Apostolic Services (CACAS).
Pinangunahan naman ni Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma ang Misa bilang mission send-off ceremony ng mga council officers at members ng dalawang konseho sa Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral.
Kasama ang dalawang bagong konseho, binubuo na ng limang konseho o grupo ang Commission on the Laity ng arkidiyosesis, kabilang na ang Council of Charismatic, Marian, at Lay Tertiary Council na inilunsad naman noong nakalipas na taong 2021.
“This year, the Archdiocese of Cebu aims to organize the Councils of Popular Devotions and Apostolic Services in every parish within the archdiocese,” ayon sa inilabas na pahayag ng Archdiocese of Cebu.
Ang council of devotions ay ang magsisilbing coordinating body sa mga organisasyon hinggil sa pagdedebosyon sa Santatlo at mga banal, habang ang apostolic services naman ang tanging mangangasiwa sa mga ibinibigay na serbisyo ng simbahan.
“The CACPD is a coordinating body, open to all organizations identified through their devotion to the Holy Trinity and the Saints, as well as other lay movements with specific spirituality and acts of piety. CACAS is a coordinating body, open to all organizations identified through their particular service offered for the love of the Church (not belonging to Charismatic, Marian, Third Order, Popular Devotions),” paliwanag ng Arkidiyosesis.
Ayon sa Commission on the Laity maaring makipag-ugnayan ang mga organisasyon na nais na makibahagi sa alinmang konseho ng laiko ng arkidiyosesis sa tanggapan na matatagpuan sa IEC Convention Center-Cebu.
Kabilang sa mga impormasyong kakailanganin ng Commission on the Laity bukod pa sa paglagda sa form ay ang ilan pang detalye kaugnay sa organisasyon kabilang na ang:

(2) Statutes of the Organization
(3) Appointment of their Spiritual Director
