Tiniyak ng Philippine National Police – Chaplain Service ang patuloy na pagsasakatuparan sa mandato na gabayan ang moralidad at buhay espiritwal ng mga alagad ng batas sa buong bansa.
Ito ang mensahe ni PNP-Chaplain Service Director Police Brigadier General Rev. Msgr. Jason Ortizo sa paggunita ng 30th founding anniversary ng PNP-Chaplain Service na may temang “CHS 2022: 30th Year of Serving those who Serve”.
Ayon kay Msgr. Ortizo, patuloy na pagsusumikapan ng PNP-Chaplain Service na maisulong ang pagiging ganap na God-centered, service oriented at family-based ng mga alagad ng batas sa bansa.
“We are proud to proclaim that for 30 years the Chaplain Service continues to reach a major milestone of pastoral service as well as spiritual guidance and counseling to all PNP personnel and dependents regardless of any religious affiliation, through the years they carried out our mission and primary responsibilities to achieve our vision to attain a God-centered, service oriented and family-based PNP personnel.”pahayag ni Msgr. Ortizo.
Ibinahagi ni Msgr. Ortizo na makalipas ang 30-taon ay higit pang palalawakin ng PNP-Chaplain Service ang mga programa nito sa mga kawani ng PNP at kanilang pamilya.
Iginiit ng opisyal na mahalaga ang tungkulin ng PNP-Chaplain Service sa organisasyon upang matiyak na ang mga kasapi nito ay may disiplina at tamang direksyon sa buhay at sa tungkulin bilang mga tagapagpatupad ng batas.
“Alongside this anniversary celebration I want to emphasized that our specific function serves as an essential component to the fundamental structure of the entire PNP like a corner stone that supports all endeavors on internal discipline and service agenda of the organization. Basically, we are the keeper of morality and spiritual journey of all PNP personnel and their respective families.” Dagdag pa ni Mgsr. Ortizo.
Binigyang diin pa ni Msgr. Ortizo na maituturing ang PNP-Chaplain Service bilang puso ng Pambansang Pulisya ng Pilipinas na patuloy na nagpapalakas sa pintig ng integridad ng institusyon.
Inihayag ng opisyal na maituturing din na piloto ang mga kasapi ng PNP-Chaplain Service na nagdadala sa mga kawani ng PNP sa tamang direksyon ng paglilingkod at pagsasakatuparan sa kanilang sinumpaang tungkulin na protektahan ang kapakanan ng bawat mamamayan.
“If we are to consider the PNP organization as one living entity, the Chaplain Service would stand as its heart – the heart that beats the integrity caden of the PNP institutions; we will be the pilot that steers the moral compass of the PNP personnel and their dependents.” Ayon pa kay msgr. Ortizo.
Pinangunahan ni Philippine National Police – OIC PLtGen. Vicente D. Danao, Jr. ang pagdiriwang ng 30th Founding Anniversary ng PNP-Chaplain Service sa PNP Multi-Purpose Center, Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City noong ika-18 ng Hulyo, 2022.
Sa tala, aabot sa 190,000 ang bilang ng mga kawani ng Pambansang Pulisya ng Pilipinas na ginagabayan ng PNP-Chaplain Service mula sa iba’t ibang kampo at rehiyon sa buong bansa.
