Hinimok ni Antipolo Bishop Ruperto Santos ang mga Pilipino na magdasal at magnilay upang magabayan ng Panginoon ang buhay at piliin ang wastong gabay sa moralidad.
Ito ang mensahe ng Obispo matapos ang desisyon ng Senado na i-archive ang Impeachment Trials ni laban kay Vice-president Sara Duterte.
Ayon kay Bishop Santos, bilang simbahan ay hindi nararapat na masangkot sa anumang politikal na adbokasiya at sa halip ay manatiling gabay sa pananampalataya, konsensya at pagpili ng mga mananampalataya.
Ito ay upang patuloy na maghari ang katotohanan at pananagutan higit na para sa desisyon ng mga mayroong kapangyarihan upang mabigyan ng katarungan ang mga usapin o suliranin na kinakailangan ng kagyat na pagtugon ng pamahalaan.
“In light of the recent decision by the Senate to archive or temporarily suspend the impeachment proceedings against Vice President Sara Duterte, I invite all of us to pause, reflect, and pray—not only for our leaders, but for the moral compass of our nation As shepherds of the Church, we do not involve ourselves in the political maneuverings of government, but we are called to speak when the soul of our people is at stake. The pursuit of truth, justice, and accountability must never be silenced by convenience or political expediency. Panawagan naman ng Obispo sa mga Pilipino na manatiling mapanuri sa lahat ng mga susunod na pangyayari at kailanman ay huwag papadala sa kaingayan at pananakot.
Ito ay upang patuloy na maisulong sa lipunan ang paghahari ng katotoohanan, kabutihan ng mga lider sa pamahalaan at higit na sa lahat ang kapakanan ng mga Pilipinon na kanilang pinagsisilbihan.

Noong Miyerkules, August 06 2025, inaprubahan ng Senado sa botong 19 pabor, 4 kontra, at 1 abstain ang motion to archive na nagsanhi sa pagsasantabi ng kaso ng impeachment laban kay Vice-president Sara Duterte.
