Tiniyak ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines – Episcopal Commission on Migrants and Itinerant People (CBCP-ECMI) ang pagsasabuhay sa tema nang 39th National Migrants Sunday.
“We joyfully celebrate the 39th National Migrants Sunday (NMS)—a special day set by the Catholic Church in the Philippines every last Sunday of September. This celebration is dedicated to honoring the heroism, sacrifices, and unwavering love of our Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their families, who continue to serve as living witnesses of faith and resilience. This year’s theme, “Migrants: Missionaries of Hope,” reminds us that our migrant brothers and sisters are not only providers for their families, but also bearers of God’s hope and light wherever they are in the world.” ayon sa mensahe ng CBCP-ECMI.
“Let us join in celebrating the NMS in our different parishes and communities as a sign of solidarity with all OFWs and their loved ones, Together, let us also lift them up in special prayers, asking the Lord to protect them from harm, sustain them in times of loneliness and challenges, and bless their families with strength, unity, and peace, May this celebration inspire us to walk with our migrants, accompany their journey with compassion, and recognize them as true missionaries of hope for the Church and society.” bahagi pa ng mensahe ng CBCP-ECMI.
