Tiniyak ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang pakikiisa sa mga repatriation efforts para sa mga Pilipinong nasa Israel.
Inihayag ni AFP Spokesperson Col.Medel Aguilar na patuloy silang nakipag-ugnayan kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos sa pagpapatupad ng repatriation efforts.
“The Armed Forces of the Philippines is prepared to execute evacuation operation should there be a need for that and we have already, we already came out with a plan on how to do it and this will be a whole of nation of approach because what is important for us is the safety of our countrymen there in the conflict area,” ayon sa mensahe ni Aguilar sa idinaos na Presidential Communications Office (PCO) press conference.
Ayon sa opisyal ng AFP, nakahanda ang dalawang eroplano ng AFP na pawang mga C130 at C295 upang magsagawa ng mga repatriation efforts.
Natukoy na rin ng AFP ang mga paliparan na maari at ligtas na lapagan ng mga magsasagawa ng operasyon at ilang mga lugar na ligtas na maging pahingahan sakaling simulan ang repatriation.
“Adana Şakirpaşa Airport in Turkey as the temporary safe haven, from there we will be shuttling filipinos who are affected by the conflict, with the identification of the Haifa Airport and the Tel Aviv airport in, (Ben Gurion?) airport but all of these will only be executed based on the recommendation or instuction coming from other government authorities,” ayon pa sa mensahe ni Aguilar.
