Last December 2016, Caritas Manila mounted the very first Celebrity Bazaar dubbed THE PRE – LOVED LUXURY BRAND SALE held at the Glorietta 5, Ayala Center, Makati City.
Ms. Universe 2015 Pia A. Wurtzbach represented the event and made a courtesy call together with the Miss Universe Organization to His Eminence Luis Antonio G. Cardinal Tagle, D.D at the Residencia de Arzobispo inside Arzobispado in Intramuros, Manila.
The event successfully raised funds of over PHP 3M from the luxury brand donations of various movie stars. The entire proceeds went to the Caritas Manila 5,000 college and vocational/technical scholars nationwide.
On October 14, 2018, a Press Conference will be held at LUGANG Café Resto at 1 PM in SM Megamall to be grace by Ms. Heart Evangelista-Escudero, Father Anton CT Pascual of Caritas Manila, Mr. Steven Tan of SM Supermalls, Msgr. Bong Lo of the Megamall Chapel, and Ms. Felicidad Sy.
This year’s edition of the Celebrity Bazaar will be held at the Activity Center of Megamall on October 18. The face of this year’s celebrity bazaar is US Harpers’ Bazaar Icon dubbed Real Crazy Rich Asian, Ms. Heart.
This edition will be bigger in terms of the branded luxury selections. Live entertainment will be provided by La Salle Green Hills’ Kundirana and the world renowned G – Force. A number of movie stars will also be attending the opening and ribbon cutting ceremony headlined by Ms. Heart herself.
Full proceeds will still use to support the 5,000 YSLEP scholars of Caritas Manila.
